Job Description

Our client is seeking 3 Senior Java/J2EE Architects to provide expertise and advice while developing a new application in a: Java/J2EE, Weblogic, Hibernate and Spring environment. The consultant will provide guidance, technical expertise and development skills on a large scale (5000 + users) IM/IT Government project. This is a multi-year long term contract opportunity.

Requirements

Must Have

• University Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science or IT related discipline
• 10 years demonstrated experience working as a Software Application Architect
• 7 – 10 years experience working on a large scale (5,000 plus users) IM/IT enterprise applications for Federal Government Agencies and/or similar size organizations.
• 5 years experience  working on large scale enterprise application using: BEA WebLogic Integration Server Platform, Java/J2EE, DB2 z/OS, MQSeries and JMS.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing systems for Policing OR Biometric Fingerprint Systems.
• 5-7 years experience on large scaled enterprise applications on BEA WebLogic Integration Server Platform.
• 5-7 years experience designing and developing high volume OLTP applications using DB2 z/OS.
• 5-7 years experience using WebLogic Integration Server Clustering, Workflow and Messaging System HA, load balancing and overload protection.
• 5-7 years experience in application design and  development using Spring Framework.
• 5 years experience developing software compliant to ANSI NIST Standards.
• 5 years experience developing software which      integrates with the following reporting software: Peernet AND Cognos
• Experience developing software utilizing object persistence using Hibernate.
• Experience documenting system requirements using a formal system development process.
