One of our financial services hiring managers is looking for CHANGE MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT to join his team in Toronto for a permanent opportunity

Responsibilities

This role is responsible for creating and implementing change management activities and plans that will help drive EMR adoption and greater utilization in physician practices and other clinical settings.

The Change Management Consultant will contribute by:
  • Managing all aspects of the change management collateral from initiation to ongoing revisions; defining gaps, assigning priorities, goals and deliverables that support business priorities.
  • Developing and writing change management guides, tools and communication materials
  • Developing change management activities and plans based on priorities
  • Establishing, developing, and nurturing relationships with regional staff, Peer Leaders and others vital to the
  • Ensuring the success of the change management methodology.
  • Conducting meetings with regional staff to gain insights as to the effectiveness of current change management
  • Approaches and documents, and by assessing requirements for new or improved documents or processes.
  • Collaborating with other staff and committees to gather and coordinate information to bring issues to attention of the Manager, Change Management.
  • Preparing and publishing weekly and monthly progress and status reports, as required.
  • Defining and recommending approaches to implement the change management methodology.
  • Preparing communications to notify staff of new materials or changes to existing materials.
  • Undertaking and supporting staff training on change management methodology, ensuring consistency of use.
Qualifications
  • University degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Kotter, Prosci etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience with change management approaches, tools and phases in a related setting.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with experience in conducting staff training.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytic and decision making abilities.
  • Strong team player, ability to work with and through others, and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Experience with deployment across multiple teams and locations.
  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Solid working knowledge and experience with relevant technology.
  • Knowledge or experience of the Health Sector and/or government is an asset
  • Ability to work additional hours to meet project priorities and objectives.
