Our client has a requirement for an BI Developer for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Role

We are looking for a Datawarehouse Specialist/Developer with seasoned development background complemented with solid experience of all aspects of Data Warehouse and Data Marts design, development and support, including ETL, OLAP cubes and Web based Reporting. 

Responsiblities

• Developing and supporting mid/large scale application projects for financial industry with a strong focus on .NET technologies and Data Warehouse skills 
• Candidate would need to have experience in all phases of SDLC, Traditional and Object Oriented methodology and Kimball's approach to Data Warehouse design.

Skills

• strong expertise in SQL Server 2005/2008 and Business Intelligence 
• .NET Technologies (ADO, ASPX, C#) 
• Data Warehouse and Data Marts design, development and support 
• SSIS, SSAS, Analysis Services, SSRS 
• SharePoint WSS/MOSS 
• MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, VSS 
• Data warehouse concept, multidimentational analysis, reporting tools 
• VBScript, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, IIS, Remote Scripting 
• SQL-DMO, ODBC, VBA for Excel 
• Business Objects XI (OLAP Intelligence, WEB Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, InfoView, Universe designer) 
• Financial/banking experience 
• Strong expertise in SQL Server 2005/2008 and Business Intelligence, .NET technologies and Data warehouse skills with solid SDLC.
