Job Description

Our client has a requirement for quality Assurance for 12 months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Calgary.

Requirements and Qualifications

The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) project requires a Quality Assurance to support TransCanada's implementation of FileNet P8 which will be delivered in 2 main streams:

• Migration of existing business content from FileNet CS to FileNet P8
• Roll-out of new ECM functionality to the enterprise
• The Quality assurance is accountable for assuring the project deliverables meet the quality requirements defined for the project. Duties of the quality analyst will include:
• Develop a quality management plan and approach for the full ECM program
• Define testing & defect management processes and documentation
• Work with members of the ECM and Integra (SAP) teams to develop and execute test plans/scripts for Application functionality
• System integration
• Load testing

Technical Skills / Business Knowledge needed:

• Knowledge of quality management approaches, processes, tools, frameworks Bitmap  
• Preparing plans, performing tests, validating/documenting results    
• Experience in using Team Foundation Server as a QA control environment/repository    
• Experience with FileNet P8 would be a strong asset

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
