Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Permanent job opportunity as a Product Specialist in Kanata. The product specialist is expected to be the primary point of contact for our client’s customers, and will work with practices to resolve routine technical issues as well as address general account concerns. This position is responsible for the ongoing training of practice staff to address skill deficits and to support the release of new features. Our client is looking for someone with the capabilities of communicating and sharing information with others in the company. You will be expected to provide guidance to the development, technical support, sales and implementation teams on how customers use our client’s product.

Requirements or Qualifications
  • Experience in a Technical Support, Account Management or Implementation role in the  IT industry (3-5 years)
  • 4-year college or university degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and telephone skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Basic sales skills – presentations, closing, objection handling
  • End user training experience
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems
  • Experience using a CRM is an asset
  • Project Management experience is an asset
  • Exposure to wireless and web applications
