About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Project Lead for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Mississauga, ON.

Role

The Project Lead will work on a team that is responsible for growing the company’s market share in Canada across all products. This will be achieved by providing their sellers with the right resources at the right time and in the best consumable format to enable them to win opportunities and engaging with communities and influencers to change perception.

The team is looking for a seasoned Project Lead to drive the process around Win/Loss reviews in conjunction with the sales excellence and segment leads.

The objective of the project is to:

• Learn from and recognize the great wins.
• Understand why deals are lost.
• Identify and prioritize sales blockers and provide feedback to Business Groups to get issues resolved.

1 day/week will be spent in the office and the rest of the time will be spent sending emails and on the phone. It is a small project team (approximately 2 individuals).  

Responsibilities

• Sending weekly reminders to closed opportunities owners reminding them to fill the reviews
• Auditing the reviews in the tool to verify they have been filled in correctly
• Scheduling review meetings for critical opportunities
• Capturing meeting notes and updating Win/Loss tool
• Tracking of action items from review meetings
• Monthly reporting to Leadership team about the status of the project and insights captured from the reviews
• Tracking of win-back plans to insure plans are executed on time
• Using an electronic internal system to review every deal that is won or loss
• Schedule and attend in person reviews
• Build a plan to address what is being done to win-back a deal
• Interaction with the people who are responsible for the review tool and provide feedback on the tool and share best practices that can be used worldwide

Requirements or Qualifications

• 2-3 years formal project management experience (should be proficient in building project plans, tracking activities and reporting on them formally)
• Strong proficiency with MS PowerPoint
• Extremely strong written communication skills are required - ability to summarize complex results in a professional manner suitable for senior leadership
• Ability to follow up with senior leaders and commitments are delivered
