Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a General Process Engineer for an open-ended contract opportunity. The positions are located in Houston, TX.

Servicing customers through ten diverse business units, our client offers challenging assignments on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Process Engineer x 3 openings

• Expert in all process engineering activities related to executing grassroots or revamp engineering projects for plants such as ammonia, ethylene, chemicals, refining, O&G and LNG facilities, with scopes of work ranging from feasibility studies to FEED and detailed engineering.
• Experience may be in process units or utilities & offsite systems, or both.
• Work as part of team or lead small to medium size projects or areas within larger projects.
• Responsible for developing or leading others in the development of heat and material balances using process simulation software, process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs); fluid hydraulic calculations to generate process data for in-line instruments and loads for rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and turbines; determine system design pressures, design relief valves and relief systems including flare headers. 

Qualifications:

• Experience with major EPC companies and NOT at a production facility
• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 8 – 15 years of experience
