Job Description:

Our client has a 6 month contract opportunity for a senior VMWare Architect located in Ottawa. The Architect will be expected to test their product’s performance using VMWare’s full suite in conjunction with Cisco routers which will be connected to multiple SAN environments. The ideal candidate will be versatile with the ability to handle all areas of the contract.

Qualified Candidates will have:

- A Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Computer Science

- 5+ years experience as a Technology Architect

- Professional experience in VMWare deployment and configuration (4.1 or higher)

- Must have experience working in more than one SAN environment (ex. HP 4500, lomega SAN, and Netapp FAS)

- Must have experience using Active Directory 2008 R2 for setting up domains and authentication.

- Cisco and VMWare certifications are an asset – ex. CCNA, VCP, etc.
