Job Description
We are currently seeking a Solution Architect for a 6 month contract opportunity in Toronto Ontario.
Qualification
* Senior Solution Architect with minimum of 5 years experience in a large organization *or* with a consulting firm.
* Must be able to converse with technology and business partners using vocabulary that is tailored to the audience.
* Ability to influence others through strong decision-making, negotiation and presentation skills.
* Experience with Architecture Governance (process, decision-making, escalations, stakeholder communication, blueprinting, roadmapping, documentation, etc …). Exposure to TOGAF or Zachman a nice-to-have.
* Experience architecting solutions for the Web with an emphasis on reuse vis-à-vis Multi-Channel Architecture.
* Experience designing Enterprise Java solutions.
* Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and experience identifying and consuming Web Services. Knowledge of SOAP/XSD/WSDL a nice-to-have.
* Experience with Integration Patterns and technologies. Knowledge of IBM ESB products (WebSphere DataPower and Enterprise Service Bus) a nice-to-have.
* Exposure to domain architecture (Data, Business, Infrastructure, etc ..) and experience liaising with individuals in these roles.
* Knowledge of Business Process and Rules Management concepts. Experience with Pega Rules Process Commander a nice-to-have.
* Experience in Wealth Management a nice-to-have.
