Job Description:

Our Federal Government client has a requirement for two (2) Technical Writers for a nine (9) month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Ottawa’s National Capital Region.

Requirement or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• A degree or diploma from a      recognized educational institution, in additiona a technical writing      certification is considered an asset
• 5 years experience creating      new material (publications, manuals, user guides, newsletters, or web      content)
• 5 Years experience analyzing      source material and re-writing/editing it in a concise effective manner;
• 5 years experience meeting      and communicating with stakeholders to obtain and implement requirements while      adhering to Web publishing guidelines or standards;
• 5 years experience performing all of the      following: writing new content for the Web; editing existing content for      the Web; developing content layout for the web page;  compliance to the governmental      Web-related policies and standards; meetings with stakeholders.
• Experience with WCAG 2.0 standards
• Enhanced security clearance
