Account executive

Strategic selling experience focused on IT solutions in the areas of Datacenter, Network & Security, Storage, Virtualization & Cloud and Managed Services.

Execution of an annual business plan and in collaboration with your team including; Inside Sales, Presales, Solution Architects, Manufacturer Partners, Subcontracting Networking and Management team.

Experience, knowledge, and certifications with strategic partners such as HP, Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, VMware, DELL, Avaya, Veeam, EMC, Hitachi is heavily considered.
Responsibilities include:
  • Outbound calling to potential and established customers on a daily basis to book direct meetings
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with key IT executives and decision makers within each customer account.
  • Demonstrate ability to negotiate and close sales and overcome customer objections
  • Ability to position core IT Practice Areas as a strategic advantage to our customers' long term business needs
  • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative client relationships as their trusted advisor
  • Embrace company values with a common passion for growth and success
  • Excellent time management, ability to cope with change and to work in a fast-paced environment, good judgment and problem-solving ability to work independently and as a team to obtain solid business results
  • A proven ability to multitask, work long hours and exceed business objectives.
  • Consultative selling skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment along with Capex and Opex based solution options.
  • An excellent database of existing clients where you have established a proven track record
  • Ability to work with sales manager to identify target vertical and pre-qualify potential clients and follow up on all sales leads
  • Work with inside sales on run-rate opportunities and drive a synergistic approach to winning business
  • Forecasting accurately your business and understanding the fundamentals of managing your sales funnel.
  • Account planning as required on strategic targeted accounts
  • Attend sales meetings, company sponsored events, manufacturer training sessions and assisting in driving marketing campaigns across your sales territory with your partners
  • Bilingual an asset
