Web Administrator Technical Support Analyst

About the Job
As part of the Client's E-Commerce and Multi-channel IT team, The Web Administrator / Technical Support Analyst is responsible for the updating, availability and integrity of the web site content, as well as for technical support of the e-commerce and multichannel systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Update web site content and graphic changes in a timely and accurate manner for all of the Client's e-commerce and micro sites.
  • Working with the Online Marketing team to co-ordinate and schedule content for marketing campaigns (e-mail, banner updates, pricing updates).
  • Maintain content and pricing changes across staging and production sites.
  • Assist with image/graphic design, Flash, and other Web development tasks that may arise.
  • Execute quality assurance testing
  • Work with our Internet developer and hosting provider to resolve issues
  • Monitor Web server uptime, network bandwidth and site technical performance
  • Assist Customer Service and Marketing department representatives with technical issues.
  • Analyse and escalate technical issues to external partners and their support teams.
  • Keep track of outstanding issues and priorities.
  • On-call availability on a rotational scheduled basis.
  

Requirements or Qualifications

  • College degree in a related IT field
  • 1+ years experience as a Web Administrator of an e-commerce site.
  • Experience in HTML development and other Internet scripting languages
  • Experience in creating / editing images using Photoshop and other related software
  • Well versed in MS Office products: Excel, Word.
  • Superior communication skills in both French and English
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with iCongo ICE3 an asset
  • Retail experience an asset
