Job Description:
Our unique client has a requirement for an Enterprise Architect for a permanent position. The position is located in Downtown Ottawa and is with one of Ottawa’s Top 25 Employers.

Requirement or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 10+ years of overall experience across a blend of IT and business environments
- Previous experience leading the design of Enterprise Architecture components based on business requirements and IT strategies
- Previous experience analyzing the current solutions environment to detect deficiencies and opportunities for simplification as part of developing future-state roadmaps
- experience in large organizations performing an enterprise architect role
- University Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field of study
- Be able to communicate fluently in English and French
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the development of enterprise-class solutions architectures
- Strong understanding of diverse business; hardware and software technologies; data- and information-management practices; and IT security
- Recognized IT-industry certifications such as: TOGAF, ITIL and PMP certifications
- Knowledge of numerous leading vendor platforms, such as Oracle, Hitachi, Cisco, Microsoft and IBM,
- Recent experience in infrastructure and security architecture
