Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a Sr. Weblogic Technical Consultant for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role:
• Lead medium to large size development teams
• Produce detailed Technical Design documents
• Responsible to ensure the technical solution meets business objectives
• Ensure the Test strategy meets the success criteria for the business requirements and the solution defined
• Provide direction and coordination to the Project Team as required

Requirements or Qualifications:
• Min 8 - 12 years of IT experience preferably in web development
• Min 5 years hands on development in a Weblogic environment
• Min 5 years in a technical leadership role leading teams of 5 to 10 developers
• Ability to understand complex architectural, networking, and software construction issues.
• General understanding of techniques used to develop and deploy applications in a J2EE environment
• Fully responsible and accountable for all technical aspects of the assigned project(s)
• Provides technical guidance to development team members
• Contributes to all internal project plans to ensure all Client committed performance targets for the overall project are met
• Ensures that tasks are defined, coordinated and assigned to meet targeted product deliverables on time and on budget.
• Produces all project documentation for his/her functional development area.
• Leads technical resources to define optimal solution based on Customer’s requirements.
