About the Job

Our client has a requirement for SAP- ERP Technology Lead- Production on a permanent basis. The position is located in Hercules, California.

 

 

Job Description:
As part of the Global ERP team, this position will work alongside and with a consulting team and our client’s colleagues worldwide to design, configure, document, test, implement, deliver and support SAP Manufacturing solutions for the SAP environments in the Global ERP program.

This position will have influence in the global design of the client SAP implementation and be responsible for designing processes in the Plan To Make (PTM) domain and in alignment with the company’s strategic initiatives.

 

Work Description: The position will focus on the manufacturing aspects of the 'Plan to Make' processes; below are a few of the business processes areas: Production Master Data such as Resources and Master Recipes Manage MPS/MRP Manage Capacity Planning and Scheduling Release Process Orders Production Activity Control Manufacturing Reporting and Error Handling   Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders globally to: analyze and document current and future business needs configure the system to meet business needs collaborate cross-functionally with other business teams to ensure business processes operate at their optimum efficiency assess impacts of scope changes design and test PTM Planning data integrations to/from legacy applications support PTM Manufacturing conversion effortsdocument system configuration, SOPs support operational readiness and production cutover efforts The position must partner and collaborate with: business process team members within PTM and other process areas subject matter experts external consultants development team infrastructure team   Requirement or Qualifications: Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products Experience in IDS Scheer, HPQC, MS Sharepoint, is a strong plus. Experience in SAP PP-PI Experience in both process and discrete manufacturing Experience with both Batch Management and Serialization preferred Experience with RF barcode functionality preferred Experience with SAP Quality Management preferred Be an ambitious self-starter and work well in pressure and ambiguous situations Solid analytical skills and a strong vendor/customer focus. Excellent time management and problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency (written and spoken) in Spanish strongly preferred. Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business/technical teams and external consultants. Must be capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel on average 30%, including international travel toLatin America, with the ability to travel extensively as project needs required. Experience with APO PP-DS and CIF integration betweenAPOand ECC is a nice to have Experience with PLM and eWM integration is a nice to have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other relevant field. Experience with SAP systems implementation and/or process transformation. The candidate must have experience documenting processes 'as is' through process maps and SOP's and have a working knowledge of business process decomposition techniques. The candidate must be able to design processes, sub-processes and have an understanding how these processes provide our client’s competitive advantages or operational efficiencies. Five (5) or more years’ experience supporting Manufacturing 'Plan to Make' functions. A high level of knowledge regarding our client’s internal processes and stakeholders Business Process Experience in the Life Science Industry particularly in regards to manufacturing Previous experience on project teams with a proven ability to work under time constraints while meeting critical milestones. Proven ability to solve problems in a methodical manner and to track and measure expected results. Able to manage independently all phases of a significant project or initiative. Experience with international business processes and relationships a strong plus.
