About the Job

Our client has a requirement for Programmer / Developer - Level 2 for a 6 month Contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities:

• Integrating, designing, and building ETSs, data extracts, and assessment reports for the IAR.
• Ensuring stability, optimization, and performance improvements for ETSs and data extract
• Performing regular updates to the ETLs and data extracts that align to the Ontario’s healthcare assessment standards implemented in the IAR.
• Developing a reporting delivery mechanism that is scalable for distribution at the provincial HSP level.
• Assisting Health Information Network Providers (HINPs) in troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues.
• Leading the development of ETL reports and data extracting methods using healthcare industry’s best practices.
• Escalating issues to technical lead, as required.
• Performing regular data transfer process for standardized health assessments.
• Providing after-hours support and implementations, as required.
• Managing and maintaining all documentation related to the design, build, and maintenance of ETL environments.

Qualification 

• 5+ years of senior level experience in development in Oracle and SQL environments.
• 5+ years of senior level experience in development of ETLs and data extracts.
• 3+ years’ experience with SAP Business Objects Enterprise BI 4.0 and 3.1.
• Experience in development of ETL reports and data extracting methods using Ontario healthcare industry’s best practices.
• Knowledge of Ontario’s IAR reporting and assessment standards.
• Experience with ETL data transfer processes for standardized health assessments.
