Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a Senior Database Analyst for 3 months Contract. The position is located in Toronto, Ontario

Requirements and Qualification:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in an enterprise HP UX environment as a Oracle database analyst or administrator
• Working knowledge of database design and data modeling principles
• UNIX scripting experience
• Database administration certification (Oracle 11gR2 preferred with DB2 or SQL Server or Informix an asset)
• Previous experience with data warehouses / data marts and ETL tool experience an asset
• Performance Tuning, Patching, Upgrades & cloning
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Skills
• Multi-tier systems on HP, AIX and Linux
• RMAN, Dataguard, OEM, and Oracle RAC experience.
• Analytic, diagnostic and problem solving skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision, taking ownership for the successful completion of work assignments
• Detail oriented
• Self motivated with a strong desire to improve personal skills and knowledge
• Strong verbal and written skills
