Job Description:

Our Federal Government client has upcoming Software Developer (Level 3) positions in Ottawa, Ontario.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the last 5 years as a senior software developer working with the Federal Government of Canada.
• Minimum 2 years of developing websites using Web Standards for the Government of Canada and must provide 5 website projects were the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) have been implemented.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience using MS Visual Studio Team Foundation System in a development role
• Experience in the last 5 years developing or integrating applications using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) in the Federal Government of Canada where these have been formally implemented.
• Minimum 7 years of demonstrated developing applications that have implemented .NET framework technology.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience per language in C#/VB.NET, Extensible Markup Language (XML), JavaScript, VB 6.0, and Classic ASP.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience developing web based application integration with social media platforms.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience developing web based application integration with Google Maps.
• Demonstrated experience with 5 out the 9 listed items (AJAX, NHibernate, JQuery, SOL Server, Infragistics, LINQ, Syncfusion, Java servlet driven mapping technology, SMTP)with a minimum of 2 years of within the last 5 years developing with Windows-based infrastructure, environments, products, and tools .
• Experience writing and/or implementing code migration plans for application/website deployment on production.
• Demonstrated technical writing skills in developing and writing user requirements, functional specifications, technical specifications, fitgap analyses, and user acceptance testing.
