client has a requirement for [SR. MECHANICAL DESIGNER CATIA v. 5] for a 1 month
contract opportunity. The positions are located in Aurora.

Requirement
or Qualifications:
Proficiency
in UG-NX
FTA
and GD&T a plus
Past
experience in Automotive required
Past
experience working for Large Automotive OEM a plus (GM or FORD)
Modify
existing product designs in accordance with established engineering
specifications.
Work
closely with engineers to improve designs that can be economically produced
The
candidate will be able to work with flexibility, while maintaining high
standards and quality work.
The
applicant must have excellent English communication skills; must be well
organized; able to work independently while maintaining close contact at all
times with his/her immediate supervisor.
The
candidate will be capable of working in a fast paced environment. Proficiency in
the use of drafting software, and other standard office software is a must.
Experience
in the industrial sector will be an asset. The successful candidate will foster
an environment that generates professionalism, technical excellence, accuracy
and timeliness.
Minimum
10+ years 2D design experience and at least 3 years 3D design experience
Must
be able to work well within a team environment
Must
possess strong communication skills and good attitude
Must
be able to demonstrate effective organizational skills
Project
management skills are welcomed
QUALIFICATIONS
& SKILLS:
5-10
years of experience in the Automotive Industry
Bachelors
Degree in Engineering
Proven
Design Capability in UG-NX
Working
knowledge of GD&T Principles
Experience
with Surfacing and Kinematics
