About the Job:
Our client has a requirement for a Technical Support Specialist for a 3 month opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role:
This role is part of the Window Replacement Program carrying out equipment relocation.
Scope of work would include the following:
- Dedicated individual for the length of the program
- Tear down of scheduled office technology within designated offices; label for reinstall (evening starting approx. 4PM - equipment tear down needs to be completed by 6PM so that construction work can commence).
- Re-install and test equipment once the construction component of work has been completed (normally approx 6AM – 8AM following morning - construction teams will be done by 6AM)
- No physical furniture moves
- Equipment will be stored on the same floor as the construction overnight.
- On site direction will come from PCL Construction Site Supervisors
Please NOTE - this position will be based on 15 - 20 hours a week, all work must be completed between the hours of 4pm - 6pm and 6am - 8am.
Requirements or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 5+ years of experience performing Computer System and Peripheral Equipment Maintenance
- Comptia A+ Certification
- Operates and monitors computer equipment.
- Performs routine tasks to maintain computer equipment and their peripherals.
- Loads peripheral equipment such as tapes and printer paper for operating runs.
- Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor of terminal to detect faulty output or machine stoppage
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
