About the Job
Our client has a requirement for a Mainframe Access Consultant for a fourteen month opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

Role
The chosen candidate will work with the Access Management Governance Team. The Access Management Governance Team is a department within the Technology Risk Management and Information Security division. It oversees access reporting & attestation and is the owner of several applications.
Responsibilities
The chosen applicant would be required to work with business managers to assist them with removing any inappropriate access that they have on the mainframe. The person must be able to understand technical access theories and be able to talk to those technical theories in business terms. They would be responsible from start to finish to determine the access they need for their people and have this access implemented by the access provisioning team.
- User inquiries relating to access reported on monthly attestation reports
- Work closely with managers at all levels within the corporation to ensure their staff has the correct access to do their jobs
- Work as a relationship manager between IT access provisioning team and business managers for removal of inappropriate access for staff members
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Proven ability to work with MS Office, Outlook Mail, Excel Macros is a plus
- Security experience/knowledge is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with “internal clients” and Management
- Experience in ACF2 is a plus
- Should be able to develop good business relationships with ‘internal clients’ and be able to work with minimal supervision in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task several initiatives concurrently and meet deliverables
- The chosen candidate should be organized, self-motivated, and customer-oriented and be able to work independently as well as within a team. The candidate should also be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
