About the Job:
Our client has a requirement for a Systems Integrator for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Role:
The successful candidate will be working within a group that is responsible for the development and support of in-house Market and Credit Risk systems.
Responsibilities:
The success candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining scripts and processes to help automate tasks and integrate diverse systems, using full software development life cycle processes.
- Wrapping, packaging, deployment and support of builds as code are promoted through development, user acceptance testing, and production environments.
- Participating in the implementation and maintenance of source control and release procedures
- Providing support to business and testing teams
Requirements or Qualifications
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Knowledge of the Market and Credit Risk businesses.
- Understands parallel computing and distributed platforms (Sun Grid Engine preferred).
- Experience with large scale architectural design and the ability to implement within such an environment
- Expertise with UNIX shell (BASH, SH, KSH shell)
- Expertise with Perl
- Strong working knowledge of DB2
- Experience working with Oracle, Sybase and/or mySQL databases (one of these is good)
- Familiarity with version control tools (CVS).
- Familiarity with HTML and XML.
- Proven problem solving capabilities.
- Understand business requirements as they relate to operational processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be organized, self-motivating, and a team player and able to multi-task.
