Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for Enterprise Architect for a full time (Permanent) opportunity.  The position is located in Calgary, Alberta.

Requirement or Qualifications:
  • Experience in supervising and leading staff
  • Large transformation project leading experience
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • Requires in-depth knowledge in all disciplines related to process, change and relationship management services
  • Work is of advanced nature and complexity and requires specialized depth and or breadth of expertise
  • Solves a range of complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and recommend best practice
  • Is a thought leader and recommends leading edge best practices and identifies organizational gaps to recommend improvements and build strategy
  • Partners with the business to undertake significant transformation initiatives and inputs on future technology/business strategy (scope and impact is significant/broad)
  • Aligns business strategies across IT functions
  • Develops and implements integrated plans on systems designs/architecture on initiatives with a high degree of impact. (This includes OCM, BA, BR, Learning, Policy, ITIL)
  • Leader in Provincial change processes - creates methodology, standards, and policies - owns process and rolls out provincially on an organizational level
  • Lead and manage business process re-engineering
  • Position may lead, supervise and provide direction for a team delivering OCM, BA, BR, Learning, Policy, ITIL on projects with a high degree of impact
  • Engage and manage expectations for multiple cross functional stakeholders for 1 or more projects with a high degree of impact


Major Accountabilities:

Project/Program Management 30%
  • Provides leadership or guidance to project/program teams, acting as resource, delegating work, tracking progress and reporting
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements while ensuring they support the service delivery model, guiding principles and vision of the portfolio and Client
  • Liaises with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Lead and/or facilitate stakeholder engagement, solving a range of complex problems, recommends leading edge best practices and identifies gaps to recommend improvements


Program Coordination/Administration 25%
  • Leads large/complex initiatives with high degree of impact/partners with the business to undertake significant transformation initiatives providing input on technology and business strategy
  • Coordination and/or administration of specialized or complex work methods, protocols, policies and procedures related to deliverables, which include organizational change management, benefits realization, business analysis, learning and clinical content design 
  • Contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of departmental policies, procedures, priorities and standards
  • Assists Department Leaders in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives in support of the delivery streams

Organizational Change Management 20% 
  • Lead process change across disparate areas and/or lead or manage business process re-engineering
  • Conveys changes to processes, policies and procedures through training/information sessions to employees within Client Organization
  • Understands and applies basic theories, and concepts of organizational change management
  • Experience and expertise to practice organizational change management 

Resource Management 15%
  • Engage and manage expectations for multiple cross functional stakeholders for 1 or more projects with a high degree of impact, at a senior and executive management level
  • Provides input into the determination of financial and physical resources required to execute projects or program requirements 
  • Provides input into the management of the program/project budgets for designated responsibility
  • Identifies and participates in developing strategies to overcome resource deficiencies
  • Oversees work of consultants and private contractors conducting work within Client Enterprise

Issues Management/Concerns Resolution (10%) 
  • Accountable for identifying and managing service delivery, business and operational issues
  • Develops innovative solutions based on a broad and complex knowledge base
  • Manages risk and implementation of mitigation strategies
  • Manages issues/situations according to policy/procedure
  • Makes best practice based recommendations for issue resolution to Lead or Program Manager
