Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for a Financial Advisor for a three (3) year contract opportunity. The position is located in Ottawa.

 

 

Requirements or Qualifications:

Qualified Candidates will have:

• A minimum of five (5) years experience planning and coordinating financial management activities including estimating, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
• A minimum of two (2) years of recent and demonstrated experience using MS Project.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience extracting data from SAP to track and report financial status.
• A minimum of two (2) years experience conducting earned value management to track progress against project cost and schedule.

  

 

Rated requirements:

• Professional Certification – Accounting/Financial Management
• One of the following project management certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Masters Degree in Project Management.
• Time management experience with MS Project Server.
• Experience with the development and implementation of Earned Value Management.
• Should demonstrate finance experience on projects in a public sector environment, where the proposed resource developed and presented earned value and/or financial management strategies, plans or frameworks that were approved and subsequently implemented within the last 12 years.
