Account Manager

Zylog Systems (Canada) Ltd. is currently seeking an Account Manager.  This role will be responsible for developing and driving new and current customer’s Human Capital Management strategy, identifying and qualifying leads while assisting the existing sales team on a regular basis in order to meet sales quotas in the sale of the TalentFlow product lines.  In addition, the Account Manager will be responsible for consulting with current clients, identifying requirements, presenting technical information in easily understood terms and developing relationships that meet/exceed customer needs.

Specific Responsibilities & Primary Duties:

Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Develop an intimate awareness of client recruitment and hiring processes
  • Existing account management with an emphasis on client retention and key user adoption while achieving client retention goals
  • Grow business within existing accounts through up selling/cross selling
  • Grow new business through new business development
  • Provide sales and software demonstrations to prospect companies
  • Assisting new clients to implement the software solution
  • Interfacing with both clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis while managing sales cycle in multiple accounts
  • Assist in the development of responses to RFP’s and RFQ’s for established clients and client prospects
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to existing sales team
  • Provide user training to new users and customers as required
  • Attend Trade Shows and Association Group meetings as required
  • Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends. Identify products and pricing that meet customer needs and business objectives.


 Key Skills and Attributes required:

The specific skills and experience required for this position are:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Human Resources is strongly preferred.
  • At least two (2) years sales experience within the Human Capital Management (HCM) or Recruiting Solutions industry.  A proven track record of consistent quota attainment or over-achievement.
  • Ability to develop and implement account planning and growth strategies for TalentFlow, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Vendor Management Solutions (VMS), Job Boards, and Back Office solutions.
  • Previous Human Resources experience required.
  • Ability to participate in public speaking engagements at conferences, seminars and workshops
  • In depth knowledge of the staffing industry business and hiring cycle
  • Well established client prospect account development/management experience
  • A highly motivated self-starter with very strong presentation and technical skills
  • An impeccable customer service track record and strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to contribute to the organization’s strategic vision
  • A high degree of professionalism and business ethics
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Highly organized with well developed desktop computing skills as well as knowledge of internet technologies and tools
  • Sound time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work autonomously
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Good account management skills.
