About the Job:

Our client has a requirement for a Release Manager for a 12 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

 

 

Job Details:

The Release Manager will manage Release Notes and build notifications and release scopes and change

requests, Leading, identification, and management of release issues and risks and its mitigation Delivery of Release Management process updates and representation in System Integration, Application Management, and development or operation support.

 

 

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

• Have a minimum 12 years of experience in software delivery or project management, of that at least 5 years must be senior release management and service delivery
• Proven leadership and management skills including direct project or resource management duties
• Ability to Interwork with a large team of release and project professional and gaining consensus
• A team player with a proven track record for meeting strict deadlines
• Experience with SDLC, ITIL, PMP and other development or delivery process frameworks
• managing full life-cycle development and implementation of IT projects
• Strong collaboration and facilitation skills and conflict resolution and issue management
• Proven ability in working with matrix organizations and conflicting priorities and multiple tasks
• Ability to manage comprehensive project plans and multi project programs
• Commitment to client delivery and satisfaction
• Knowledge of health applications and business processes related to maintenance of standard
• nomenclature is desirable
• Previous experience in delivering healthcare information systems
• Understanding of the Privacy and Security policy
• A University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
