Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a senior C/C++ developer for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Etobicoke.

- Programming of games from the start of development through the entire deployment cycle.
- Working on game design in conjunction with other senior staff.
- Managing and mentoring junior programming staff.
- Creating and reviewing technical reports for management.
- Researching new devices and technologies and reporting to management.
- Proactively identifying potential game genres/licenses and working with management and artists to put together compelling pitch documents.


Requirements or Qualifications

- Strong programming skills in C/C++, C# and Objective C.
- Prior work experience in game development on commercially shipped titles.
- A passion for gaming.
- Experience managing staff.
- Experience in game design.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience dealing with stringent game certification requirements (console certification, mobile certification).
- Prior work experience with leading-edge mobile and smartphone devices such as iPhone and Android devices is a plus.
- Experience with client/server architecture is a plus.
