Job Description

Our client has a requirement for QA III for a 3 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Mississauga.


Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

The Quality Assurance Analyst role is to plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements.


MUST HAVES:

- Loadrunner scripting experience (2-5 years) with the following protocols at a minimum:
o Web HTML/HTTP
o Web Service
- Performance Test Execution experience (2-5 years)
- Performance Monitoring experience of system metrics (CPU, Memory, etc.)
- Performance Test Analysis experience (2-5 years)
- Understanding of performance test setup (Appropriate scripts, test data requirements, base data requirements, etc.)
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
- Develop and execute test scenarios for performance testing. Execute tests to ensure results achieve documented goals and objectives.
- Experience with basic C coding in LoadRunner including
- String manipulation
- Arrays

-Able to match application run-cycle into given infrastructural environment pinpoint to potential issues that could happen.
-Clear understanding of performance test requirements (Response time SLAs, concurrency levels, capacity limitations, etc.)
-General understanding of resource monitoring in any environment
-Extensive experience preparing reports based on LoadRunner Analysis information.
-Ability to filter and translate highly technical data from various sources into easy to read reports
-Understanding of resource monitoring in different technologies and environments.
-Perform a variety of performance related tests and understanding of resource monitoring in different technologies and environments:
-Web/HTML
-Middleware (Web Services/MQ etc.)
-AJAX
-Siebel/PeopleSoft
-Citrix
-ODBC/JDBC
-Provide performance tests to clients including but not limited to load tests, soak tests, stress tests, volume/capacity tests, and failover tests.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems
-Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
-Ability to work both in teams and individually
-University degree or college diploma with experience in the IT industry
-Minimum 5 years of testing/development experience.
-Certified in HP LoadRunner is a plus.

*Please do not submit candidates that only have C# or VB scripting...we are specifically looking for Testers with experience creating scripts using C language.
