Dynamics Great Plains/RMS Business Analyst: (Retail Industry Experience)

Job Description

Our client, in the retail sector, is currently looking for a Dynamics Great Plains / RMS Business Analyst.

•Acting as the primary Analyst, serve the needs of the Finance/Ops/IT team by working to identify core information requirements and developing systems and tools to report key information.
•Serve as the departmental expert for MS Dynamics Great Plains and Microsoft RMS - responsible for synthesizing the needs of the department, service requests for information, and act cross functionally on teams to ensure business information needs are met.
•Create training and documentation; train other team members using this documentation.
•Work with finance team to manage the core MS Dynamics Great Plains Master Data processes and inputs - develop a strong understanding of all operations interactions within the order entry system to facilitate the most effective and efficient system configuration.
•Play an active role in establishing procedures for maintaining Dynamics Great Plains/RMS Master data including items, pricing, costing, Inventory, purchasing
•Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by providing needed critical planning data as well as analyzing and suggesting important trends to optimize forecast and planning accuracy.
•Work experience in an analyst capacity, including developing effective and efficient reporting and data processes.
•Experience working in and developing reporting for MS Dynamics Great Plains, MS RMS required.
•Document and develop new reports using SQL Reporting Services.
•Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot FRx reporting application.
•Create, maintain, and execute Integration Manager jobs.
•Possess a deep knowledge of application table names and structures.
•Working experience with distributed systems.
•Working experience with data warehousing applications.
•Working experience with retail distributed systems.
•Technically competent with various software programs and databases, such as SQL 2005/2008, Excel, Access, Crystal Reports , SharePoint.
•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
•Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
•Conforms well to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
