About the Job

Job Description

Our client has a requirement for PCO III for a 6 month contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.


Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

We are currently seeking a strong (PCO III) with solid background / experience with financials; Project planning, budget preparation, forecasting/analysis, as well as monitoring and tracking the budgets.

We are seeking a Project financial Officer to provide project support and analysis to the Program and Project Managers. The successful candidate must be a strong team player, self-motivated, highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment.


Key accountabilities include:

•Report creation
•Roll up Reporting
•Project Plan creation and ongoing maintenance
•PowerPoint presentation creation
•Management of logs and documenting the outcomes of meetings
•Ensuring SharePoint site repositories are up to date
•Additional support as required by the program
•Provide support for invoice processing.
•Manage the process for all required updates to internal financial management tracking tools (EPM, Carpe Diem, Resource Tracking)


Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience

•Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities
•Ability to work independently and within a team setting
•A strong focus on attention to detail to produce high quality, accurate and timely deliverables to meet deadlines
•Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills
•Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Visio skills are required
•Exposure to SDLC/PMLC would be considered an asset
•Previous project support work experience is considered an asset
•Previous experience with Carpe Diem and EPM is mandatory
•Previous Financial reporting would be a bonus

-PMO experience would be nice to have...
-Experience with issue logs, status reports, minutes, program documentation
-Organized and proactive with follow up.
