Business Systems Analyst - Insurance

Job Description

Our GTA client has a requirement for a Business Systems Analyst. This is a permanent role located in Toronto.


Role:

- Identify and analyze information business problems/issues in business area, develop and test systems solutions to problems.
- Develop and maintain reports, procedures and documentation as required.
- Develop presentations on projects/proposals, and deliver as required.


Must Have Skills and Qualifications:

- Several years of experience as a business analyst or related position; Property and Casualty Insurance experience an asset; previous project management experience an asset.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty industry and products an asset.
- Knowledge of Information Systems relating to assigned business area. (i.e. Business Intelligence tools and platforms, Data ware house tools and platform, J2EE. .NET etc.); Knowledge of PC, Mainframe, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
