Job Description:
Our client has a requirement for BASE24 POS Quality Assurance for a 6 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Mississauga.

Requirement or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
- BASE24 POS QA III
The candidate must have strong QA coordination and execution experience directly related to BASE24-pos release 6.0 configurations of Acquirer (SPDH) and Issuer payment networks (interchanges), hosts and routing as well as stand-in functionality. Must review requirements and design specifications and deliver test strategies/plans and coordinate/execute the test preparation and execution. The work requires that the candidate adhere to the documented QA processes, conforming to the SDLC and audit requirements. Planning and ensuring the capture and storage of test results as well as formal defect management (using Quality Centre) are mandatory.
Key accountabilities are:
- Leading QA aspects of project from inception through to deployment. Participate in requirements analysis and test strategy and planning sessions.
- Delivery of QA strategy and plans according to System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.
- Provide detailed development estimates to Project Manager for QA effort as well as regular status reporting.
- Specify and review expected development test results as entry criteria to subsequent QA phases.
- Responsible for test environment build (change management process) and shakedown prior to test phases.
- Lead the technology test execution, results capture
- Develop and execute testing with external systems and the simulators used
- Provide technical support to business and testing team during testing phases. Track defects, defect triage and resolution.
- Data set up and environment shake down.
- Coaching / mentoring of junior developers.
- Knowledge transfer within group.
- Ensure required documentation is housed in the project repository and that knowledge transfer has occurred to full time staff through the contract term.
