About the Job

Our client has a requirement for a Bilingual Data Architect for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Montreal.


Key responsibilities:

- Establish current Entity Relationship Diagram
- Identify and establish strategy for reference data and metadata
- Baseline current data through data profiling
- Identify data problems
- Contribute to data issues solutions
- Contribute to master data governance model


Experience:

- Bilingual
- 5 years in data architecture
- Understanding data architecture principles and practices
- Experience with conceptual, logical and physical information models
- Experience with data modeling tools
- Experience with designing strategies and solutions to improve / resolve data quality issues
- Master Data Management experience
- SOA-ESB experience
- Retail domain experience


Qualified Candidates will have:

- Data analysis
- Data migration tools
- Data modelling
- Data warehousing
- English

- Strong desire to establish standards of best practices
- Wide degree of creativity and lateral thinking
