Job Description

Our client has a requirement for Niche-Applications Programmer III with PIVOTAL V5 EXPERIENCE for a 6 months contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto.

Niche-Applications Programmer III with PIVOTAL V5 EXPERIENCE

Current Pivotal v5.9 and C# experience is required and they must be able to work onsite and not remotely.


Overview:

This is a programming and support role for a candidate with significant knowledge and experience with the Pivotal CRM platform specifically, and more generally web development and relational databases.


Responsibilities:

• Customize and configure the Pivotal platform for the Investment & Corporate Banking group.
• Integrate the Pivotal platform with internal solutions, in real-time or batch mode.
• Work with business analysts to advise on business requirements and validate system specifications.
• Work with vendors and internal infrastructure groups to troubleshoot and resolve production issues, and assist with release management and application administration.
• Assist the business analysts and support analysts with technical user support where required.


Expert Knowledge Required

• 3+ yrs experience with Pivotal v5 platform
• .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, .NET GUI, C# – 3+ yrs extensive experience
• Visual Studio.NET – 3+ yrs intensive experience
• Web technologies, including Web services, SOAP, XML/XSLT, XSD, CSS, D/HTML, VBScript and JavaScript – 4+ yrs extensive experience
• Microsoft SQL Server – 5+ yrs experience
• OOD, OOP – 5+ yrs experience
• COM, DCOM, IIS – 5+ yrs experience
• MS Reporting Service – 1+ yrs


Nice to have

• Experience with Pivotal v6
• Messaging / SOA
• Eclipse SDK
• Java, Java SDK, JRE – 1+ yrs
• AJAX
