Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Release Lead for a 7 Month opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.


Qualifications

•Documented definitions and criteria for Releases, resource needs, deployment plans, and implementation
•Delivery and management of Release Plan for projects
•Delivery and management of Release Notes
•Leading, identification, and management of release issues and risks and its mitigation
•Representation of Release Management in planning, execution, and status reporting in all matters projects.
•Delivery of Release Management process updates and representation in System Integration, Application Management, and development or operation support
•Management of implementations in data centre build and deployment activities
•Establishment of standards and development of processes related to Systems Development Life
•Cycle (SDLC) and IT operations with a focus on release management and software build and deployment
•Facilitation of information gathering, issue tracking, resource allocation, and reporting workshops with cross-divisional teams
•A University Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
•Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development or Project Management.
•Experience with SDLC, ITIL, PMP and other development or delivery process frameworks.
•Previous experience in delivery of Healthcare Information Systems.
•Understanding of the Ontario Privacy and Security Policy.
