Job Description

Our client has a requirement for Network Lead for 11 months Contract opportunity. The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario


Scope of Work/Description:

One of our Toronto Public Sector clients is looking for Network Lead (Technical) with 15 years of experience.


Must Haves:

•15 years of Data Centre network architecture, design, deployment, testing and commissioning experience
•Cisco Nexus technology experience with vDC, VPC deployment
•Understanding of end-to-end data centre services
•Prior experience with Lights-out data centre setup
•Experience working with Ontario Provincial Government
•NX-OS experience with multiple virtual context
•Nexus 1000v experience with active/active topology
•Nexus QoS strategy and deployment
•10+ Experience with layer2/layer3 routing/switching


Education Requirements:

•University Degree or Diploma
•Cisco Certification CCNP
•Cisco Nexus


Nice to Haves:

•It is an asset to have experience with the Data Centre
•It is an asset to have experience working with Ontario Infrastructure Services Center.


Any other relevant information regarding expectations and role:

Occasionally, working outside of normal business hours, and on weekends, is necessary to accommodate system implementations, maintenance, and responses to outages

•Carry out unit testing, system testing and integration testing tasks
•Operations on-call support
•Define the network migration strategy and plans for the Data Centre migration project
•Application migration in a fully virtualized data centre
•IP address management and allocation
•Network planning
•Network support
