About the Job

Job Description

Our client has a requirement for Senior Database DB2 Administrator for a twelve months contract opportunity.  The positions are located in Toronto, Ontario.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Providing Mainframe DB2 Database Administration services for ongoing and future projects as required.
• Providing middleware administration support for ongoing and future projects as required
• Working with application support to review additional monitoring
• Rationalize and ensure jobs are in place for all required tables
• Deployment support for future builds
• Maintain and propose security measures for the database environments
• Perform data migration during deployments
• Knowledge Transfer
