Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

This role is within Finance, combining deep financial analysis work with business analysis, system design and IT consulting. The candidate must be willing to get involved in all stages of a project, i.e. business analysis and requirements gathering, writing detailed design specifications, development support, testing, training, rollout to client site and some post-implementation support.

-Write software specifications for portfolio accounting modules that form an integral part of our solution for clients in the wealth management area.
-Work closely with a team of financial software engineers to assist in the design of interfaces that link our customers Wealth Manager product with their client's portfolio specific accounting systems
-Write SQL queries for analysis and debugging client centric software solutions to ensure all calculation methods
-Derive, understand and document in a functional specification the client's business needs; strong written, verbal and client management skills are needed.
-Understand the product and perform a gap analysis between the client's needs and the product's current functionality or configuration.
-Must be comfortable with learning new software, understanding a data model and an object model, writing SQL queries and writing design specifications.
-Work with developers to ensure custom functionality is developed as per the specifications.
-Liaise with clients to resolve any developer or deployment issues.
-Configure the client's application with their terminology and labels where appropriate.


Must Have:

•Experience with wealth manager domain and relates to Odyssey, or Temenos or Xeye
•B.Sc. or equivalent degree in Business/Finance, Computer Science, Math or Engineering.
•Extensive knowledge in wealth manager domain
•Previous experience writing software specifications.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Extremely organized, process driven and very detail-oriented.
•Goal-oriented and self-motivated team player who works best in a collaborative team environment.
•Involvement in the major phases of a software project: analysis, design, testing, implementation planning, installation and training.
