FRONT DESK GREETER AND RECEPTIONIST

Job Description

We are currently seeking the proper individual to represent our organization at the front desk, provide a warm welcome to our valued clients and candidates, and participate in a wide variety of challenging tasks on a daily basis.

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual who likes to work and play with technology. Knowledge of social media and online communities is definitely a plus. Ability to work well in a team environment, support colleagues and have fun is an absolute necessity. Ability to participate in occasional trade shows, events, and marketing opportunities is also an advantage. The Front Desk Receptionist duties must be performed consistent with company standards for professionalism, courtesy, and respect for colleagues, candidates, and clients.


Specific Responsibilities & Primary Duties:

•You are the face and the voice of the company to all incoming visitors and calls
•Direct in-coming calls to the appropriate person.
•Greet all Visitors to the office in a friendly and professional manner and advise appropriate person of their arrival.
•Coordinate with local, national and international couriers.
•Coordinate incoming deliveries and distribution.
•Manage the schedules for boardrooms and interview rooms.
•Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
•Coordinate travel arrangements for business and exotic locations like Ottawa, Calgary, and Montreal.
•Assist other departments with clerical duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

•Previous reception or administrative experience preferred, but not required.
•Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Strong customer service skills.
•Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction.
•Strong telephone etiquette.
•Exceptional organizational skills.
•Strong sense of humour.
•Able to work well in a team environment and able to work independently.
•Personable, tactful and self-motivated.
