Job Description:

Quality Analyst III for a 6 month contract opportunity is available now in Toronto.

Role:

Candidate will be responsible for running the batches through JCL, providing outputs to the providers, validating the database from the output, writing test cases as well as plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites. The team is a size of 8 members and the Manager is seeking a resource that has excellent multi-tasking skills as well as a proactive member to join the team.

 

Requirement or Qualifications:
MUST HAVE

• IBM Host Mainframe experience
• JCL experience
• DB2 experience
• IMS experience
• Extensive experience Running Batches
• HPQC & HTP experience
• SDLC experience
• Extensive experience writing test cases as well as execution
• Exceptional communication skills (written & oral)

 

NICE TO HAVE

• COBOL experience
• Experience in Client Server Application
• Experience in financial banking sector

 

 Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, execution and analysis of test strategies and plans for the program Lead integration and system testing activities. Prepare all documentation for test strategy, test plans, test estimates, test cases, test scripts. Manage the working relationship between the QA team, the development team, the QA environment team and the business partners. Delivery of all planning, execution and reporting for program testing activities. Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.) and that testing meets governance requirements. Manage QA team and work with extended team to resolve quality issues. SKILLS: Plans, coordinates, and supervises complex informatics assignments; designs and applies new methods and procedures; may supervise staff University degree or college diploma with experience in the IT industry
