IT Engineer for a 6 month contract opportunity is available now in San Diego, California.

Role:

Perform the following test: Antenna radiation pattern, OTA (total radiated power/TRP, over-the-air sensitivity/TIS) for GSM, UMTS, LTE, CDMA, WLAN, GPS, BT protocols, S parameter/return loss/isolation, envelope correlation coefficient measurement, self-jamming and desense tests according to standard procedures, including measurement verification and calibration procedures.

The employee is guided by: Antenna Stream Leader, antenna test engineers and antenna design engineers.

• Typical decision making and problem solving situations in the job: Organizing measurements.
• Quickly identifying measurement problems, due to improper test setup, or improper settings or damage in the device under test.
• Tracking possible measurement or measurement system/procedure errors and informing superior and “customer”.
• In general, antenna technician should have competence in several of the antenna tests listed above.
