Our client has a requirement for Java, Python SW Developer & Test Automation for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Montreal.

Summary:

Our client is looking for a Java and Python software developer with Test Automation experience, and very good knowledge of the SIP protocol to work as part of a cross-functional team to improve/maintain of VoIP/Telecom product software and to update existing/write new automated test cases (unit and acceptance, non-functional tests).

 

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience in OOP and Java software development (JAVA SE/JAVA EE)
• Experience creating, maintaining, and executing automated test cases for Unit test (design tests) and acceptance tests (Black Box tests)
• Linux administration experience and bash scripting
• Experience with application servers (glassfish/jboss) administration
• Experience with the following tools: JUnit/TestNG, GIT, Maven, Eclipse

 

Assets:

• Python software development experience
• Developed Telecom/VoIP software products.
• Working experience with SIP protocol stack and/or feature development
• Experience in continuous integration using Jenkins/Hudson
• Experience in high-availability clusters

Education and Experience:

• BSc or higher degree in CE/CS or equivalent
• 6+ years of combined experience in Java/Python software development and test automation
