Job Description:

Applications Architect (Java/J2EE Developer) for a 6 month contract opportunity is available now in Toronto.

Role:

A java developer with experience in developing the front-end UI and integration with backend services with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSP. The resource should also possess strong JavaEE. It is also recommended that the resource has experience with portal administration, security and User Experience design.

 

Requirement or Qualifications:

• Development of integrations from Legacy eServices to Guidewire, including the eStatements and other databases to Technical Content Management system
• Work with the project team to implementation and configuration of legacy portal with Guidewire
• Participate in the process of applying patches and/or upgrading
• Troubleshoot issues and identify the source of the problem

 

MUST HAVE:

• 5+ experience in analysis, design and development of Enterprise level software using Oracle technologies/J2EE platform
• Hands on experience with development of Java/J2EE Applications on Weblogic server, Linux, Single Sign On and domain to domain authentication
• Proven experience with technologies such as SQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML
• Strong Object Oriented implementation skills using Java and J2EE (EJB, JDBS, JMS, JSP/Servlets)
• 5+ Web Services, XML, JDeveloper, LDAP, Databases, Web 2.0
• Experience in developing the front-end UI and integration with backend services

 

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with portal administration, security and UX design.

 

Other Resource Requirements:

• Bring your own laptop and mobile. Mobile needs to be provided to CLIENT prior to on-boarding
