Our client has a requirement for 3 QA Analysts for a 3 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Mississauga, ON.

Role

The Quality Assurance Analyst role is to assess testing needs with partner groups (eg. Network services), plan, design, architect, and deploy effective test suites and regimes for in-house product development, software application development, information system launches, and operations systems enhancements. This individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate, verify, communicate, and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments and initiatives Coordinate formal metrics gathering and reporting with partner groups to identify any areas of concern for business and project representatives. The Quality Assurance Analyst will ensure that a consistently high standard of information systems is maintained. 

A vacancy exists for a Quality test analyst to join the team and be responsible for Preserve Branch Services testing of various applications on a Windows 7 platform, ensuring the application and infrastructure are stable and perform within acceptable business response time parameters.

Responsibilities

• Review project/application documentation and review with Network services to assess testing requirements 
• Provide input to test estimates and timelines 
• Prepare test scripts, including creating and updating automated scripts (QTP) 
• Liaise with environment team to schedule test lab, ensure environment configuration is set up correctly, and prepared documentation for same.
• Coordinate and execute test scripts 
• Develop, document, and maintain test deliverables (test requirements, test strategy, test plans, test cases, test procedures, defect logs, status reports, and test result metrics reports). 
• Work with all team members to accomplish shared goals. Work with project team members to resolve quality issues.

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

• 5+ years Mercury Testing Tools QTP experience
• 5+ years Network Testing  experience
• 3+ years QC automated test scripts
• 3+ years Reporting experience
• 3+ years Writing test scripts *
• 5+ years Coordination experience
