Job Description

One of our financial services hiring managers is looking for Data power Specialist to join his team in Toronto for a 6month contract.

Qualifications

·      2+ yrs experience with hands-on DataPower 

·      2+ yrs experience with hands-on XSLT based transformations 

·      2+ yrs experience configuring DataPower mediations 

·      2+ yrs experience with hands-on MQ  

·      Proficient in designing and building (hands-on) integration solutions for SOA and EDA that are highly secure, highly available and highly performing. 

·      Strong hands-on experience developing web services and XSLT. 

·      Understanding of ESB’s including the capabilities of various kinds of ESB’s (e.g. platform ESB’s such as WebSphere ESB and appliance ESB’s such as DataPower and Repositories like WSRR.

·      Strong understanding of integration patterns and pattern-based design 

·      Proficient with integration tooling, and in particular WebSphere Integration Developer (WID)

·      Experience applying SOA application designs 

·      Strong in Java, J2EE, or Microsoft .NET.

·      Some experience in object/data modeling and XML design.

·      Proficient with Unix/Windows/Linux 

·      4+ years of IT experience.

 Nice to have:

• 2 yrs experience with Websphere ESB
• 2 + yrs experience with J2EE 
• Worked with large organizations, ie., FI or IBM with IBM Websphere experience.
