About the Job

Our client has a requirement for an Application Software Developer (Tibco, Service Oriented Architecture, Enterprise Application Integration)  for a 6 Month Contract opportunity.  The position is located in Toronto, ON.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Writing high quality and well-documented code according to accepted standards based on user requirements
• Participating in project and team meetings interacting and collaborating with team members and other departments as appropriate
• Contributing to successful completion of project deliverables
• Providing support to team members and application support analyst

Requirements or Qualifications

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Hands-on Enterprise Application Integration design/development experience
• Hands-on Experience in Tibco Business Works
• Experience in Tibco Business Events, Business Process Management, Enterprise Message Service, ActiveSpace etc. is a plus
• Experience in Web Service, JMS, XML, XSLT, XPath, XSD, XML parsing and rendering, ActiveAspect
• Experience with SOA and Event Driven based architecture
• Thorough in-depth knowledge of design and analysis methodology and application development processes from an industry perspective
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Solid understanding of SDLC and QA requirements
• Strong analytical skills for complex problem solving
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Solid communication skills both written and verbal
• Good understanding of emerging technologies
