Job Description

Our client has a requirement for a Network Administrator with Juniper Experience for a six month contract opportunity.  The position is located in Franklin, Wisconsin (53132).

Requirement or Qualifications

The Required Qualifications for the position may include:

• Education - Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience OR AA Degree (or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline) and 4 years of related experience OR Technical certification and 6 years of related experience.
• 3 Years of direct experience in Network Administration, preferably in a Juniper environment.
• Excellent Troubleshooting Skills (in a multi-platform environment of LAN/WAN, PCs and servers)
• Ability to maintain, install, configure and troubleshoot firewalls (Juniper SRX's and Cisco ASA's), VPNs (including IPSEC) and application delivery appliances such as Cisco CSS content switches
• Should have experience in Enterprise Routing and Switching. Ability to deploy, configure, manage and troubleshoot Junos-based enterprise routing and switching platforms. Configure protocols and features like IPV6, OSPF V2 , OSPF V3, BGP, MSDP, PIM, SSM, RSTP,LLDP, 802.1x , CoS, routing policies.
• Ability to implement, configure and/or troubleshoot DNS, trunking, VLAN, port connection and routing issues proficiently and with minimal escalation.
• Ability to recognize and mitigate DDOS attacks
• Strong ability to recognize and remediate network issues up to and including the server OS level (Linux or Windows)
• Basic Knowledge of IP addressing, VLSM and Subnetting.
• Proven customer service delivery focus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong references of serving in a similar capacity at previous jobs are required.
• US Citizenship required.

The Preferred Qualifications for the position may include:

• CCNA
• JNCIP or JNCIE
• Associate’s Degree in Networking or Computer Information Systems Management
• Proficient, with some guidance, at implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting basic load balancer configurations; Preferred platforms are Brocade ADX, Cisco CSS and f5
• Knowledge of Intrusion Detection concepts and applications
• Security+ Certification.
