Our client has a requirement for Software Developer for a permanent opportunity. The position is located in Montreal or Gatineau.

Summary:

As a Software Developer in data path/packet forwarding you will be at the forefront of architecture, design and implementation of our client's new generation of high- performance appliances and platform. You will be part of a team developing very high performance packet processing capabilities to expand our client’s management and application capabilities.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Very strong experience in C/C++ development for embedded real-time applications
• Extensive experience with real-time application development on Linux environment
• Experience building and using the Broadcom SDK
• Domain knowledge of L2/L3 switching with various Broadcom components
• Hands-on expertise with the Trident series of Broadcom switches

Education and Experience:

• BSc or higher degree in CE/EE/CS or equivalent
• 5+ year experience of software development
• Highly flexible and adaptable personality
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
• Organized individual, capable of working independently
• Able to interact with customers and discuss their requirements and needs
• Able to participate and contribute to a dynamic team
