Role
The Collaborative and Social Technologies team (CAST) within CSTS is responsible for the ongoing development, service and support of the bank’s enterprise intranet and internal social media applications.
The successful candidate will be a web specialist who will have the opportunity to participate in and perform all tasks related to the support, maintenance and enhancement of the enterprise intranet platforms, the workforce sites that utilize these technologies and our enterprise collaborative and social technologies platforms. The applicant must be able to support a positive work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork
 
Requirements
Must Have Experience
  • Windows
  • MS Office
  • Strong technical skills/background including excellent knowledge of HTML
  • web experience
Nice to Have
  • familiar with LinkedIn/Facebook or Social Media tools and technologies
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, and XML and graphic editing tools
  • Working knowledge of intranet and Collaboration platform technologies, including IBM WebSphere Portal, InterWoven TeamSite Microsoft SharePoint and Google Search

Job Description/Accountabilities
  • Provide a high level of service and support for all enterprise Intranet, Collaboration and Social Networking applications, adhering to established service standards, best practices and processes
  • Process high volumes of website change requests
  • Educate clients on intranet and collaborative applications by creating and maintaining support materials and participating in formal or informal knowledge sessions
  • Develop and design HTML pages and enterprise graphics
  • Monitor all enterprise applications, identifying problems, provide support and participate in issue resolution, including the tracking of ongoing issues
  • Participate in and provide effective on-call support for supported applications during implementations
  • Assist in the development of and document / maintain key operational processes
  • Provide recommendations to streamline procedures and improve service
  • Participate in the QA process for all supported technologies
  • Respond to and consolidate feedback and provide recommendations for enhancements
Qualifications
  • We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual who is committed to providing a high quality client experience in a fast-changing environment and has:
    • Strong technical skills, including excellent knowledge of HTML
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, XSLT, and XML and graphic editing tools
    • Working knowledge of Intranet and Collaboration platform technologies, including IBM WebSphere Portal, InterWoven TeamSite, Microsoft SharePoint, and Google Search
    • Familiarity with Social Networking tools and technologies
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as basic knowledge of the project management process
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.
    • Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work well as an individual contributor as well as in a team environment
    • Well-organized and able to work in a multi-project deadline driven environment
    • Detail-oriented and focused on quality
Specific Education Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree / diploma or equivalent work experience
