Job Description:

Our client has a requirement for a Q/A Specialist for a 12 month contract opportunity. The position is located in Toronto.

Role:

• Plan and organize testing efforts for the active EOIS solution development/upgrade projects.
• Develop and executes manual test cases as well as automated for EOIS projects.
• Ensure that QA standards are followed and maintained
• Perform various testing (Functional, Regression, Automated, Performance, etc.) for the projects
• Report, manage and validate defects using the EOIS standard testing tool HP-QC.

 

Requirement or Qualifications:

• Provide test status report to QA manager and lead on a regular basis
• Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines
• Notify the Cluster/Project Manager in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the assignment deliverables as soon as the he/she becomes aware of them
• Submit Deliverables for the Cluster approval as they are completed
• Comply with the Cluster security procedures and practices
• Comply with the Cluster architecture/technology standards and best practices
• Comply with the Cluster Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality Guidelines
• Provide knowledge and skill transfer to a designated Cluster staff, and comply with the T&IT directive
• Operational Policy on the I&IT Project
• Gateway Process, and other applicable Guidelines, Standards and Procedures are desirable skills
• The successful candidates must have strong experience in HP-QC and HP-QTP
